Case
Study - Verline, Inc.
Verline needed a completely new look and
increased remote functionality — an Extranet. They wanted
a new logo, branding, print materials and web site. They wanted
the site to showcase their premiere product, the LID (Lateral
Interface Device). They are also doing a lot of work in Medgidia,
Romania and needed a way for their field team to be able to
get video and other media back to their engineering team in
Houston, Texas.
We started by creating a logo that was in
line with what they do, put epoxy linings in damaged pipe.
The logo was created as a vector image using Adobe Illustrator.
This allows it to be easily scaled up or down and used in
all of their marketing collateral. They also wanted to show
their LID in various configurations, so Illustrator was again
used to create the images. The site was created using Dreamweaver
MX and runs on a Cold Fusion MX Server along with a Microsoft
SQL Server for storing and retrieving information. The back
end system allows their field and office personal to easily
share documents, videos and other business information as
needed.
Time to build the initial site was just over
two weeks, including revisions to meet the customers requirements.
Further additions and functionality have been requested.
